New and Renewing Members:
We are the Northeast RockBusters Chapter of the Historical Construction Equipment Association, and we cordially invite you to join us. We meet at least six times each year, usually at a members' home or shop. By moving around New England we can see what our fellow members have for "toys," as well as their everyday equipment. You will receive RockBusters News, our chapter newsletter, which announces where the next meeting will be held, what our members are up to, and articles of historical interest. We also publish classified ads free to members, and an annual schedule of events, that includes tractor and truck shows of interest to our members.
Meetings are usually held on Sunday with a "show & tell" session held with photo albums, old literature, toys and other items of interest. Technical problems and questions about where to find obsolete machines or parts have been answered at our meetings. The best part is the people you meet.
There is no requirement to own or operate equipment to join us. All you need is your interest. Our dues are $20 per calendar year. Anyone joining after July 1st is considered to be paid to the following year. For you to be a member of our RockBusters Chapter, HCEA by-laws require that you to also be an HCEA member. Membership in HCEA brings you the magazine, Equipment Echoes, which is published quarterly and entitles you to attend the HCEA International Convention, a show like you've never seen! Displays don't just park, they are out digging and working. Hear the sounds, see the sights, and smell the smells with fellow old iron enthusiasts. HCEA dues are $35 per year.
